Depression
Depression is one of the most common mental health disorders, affecting about one in three Americans in our lifetime, and up to 17% at any one time. Depression looks different for everyone. Some people notice they have no joy or interest in life or their usual activities; others feel so lonely or blue that they feel hopeless and worthless. Some people suffering from depression experience difficulty sleeping or eating, while others want to sleep or eat continually. Depression can be caused by many factors, including physical illness, disease, or injury and personal losses, regrets, or interpersonal difficulties.
